About the work
A small Christmas tree with a clear, tapered outline, long pine needles and soft fir tips. Red baubles, berry clusters and stars stand out against the greenery; white branches and curling twigs bring lighter lines through the dense foliage.
The tree is built from cut evergreen branches around a central rod in a terracotta pot. Larger pieces form the lower branches, while shorter sprigs narrow towards the top. The video follows the wire wrapping, trimming and filling of gaps that give the tree its shape.
Rather than scattering ornaments evenly, the decoration gathers into groups. Larger baubles sit lower down, with smaller pieces towards the tip. Close views show how wire holds the ornaments among the needles and how the final white branches and curved twigs connect the tree to its warm brown pot.
The video follows the complete project, from preparing the support and building the evergreen outline to placing the ornaments and finishing the tip.

Long pine needles create a narrow, textured tree with an open handmade surface. Pale reeds gather on one side, balancing the darker needles and branches on the other.
Noble fir covers a triangular tree with a recessed centre filled with small apples, cones and spices. Twine runs from the tip down to the pot, linking the tree to its base.
Bare larch branches form a large open Christmas tree, with red baubles and ilex berries suspended among the lines. Its airy structure offers a different silhouette from a dense evergreen tree.
A tall evergreen tree rises from a wooden block, with a full lower tier and slender twig garlands near the top. Pinecones and a dusting of decorative snow bring texture to the layered branches.
